Butterfly Check Valves with Elastomer Hinge for the Lowest Pressure Drop
US Valve's butterfly check valve with Elastomer-Hinge Design is the key to providing the lowest pressure drops in the industry. It takes performance to an entirely new level by eliminating the restrictive valve seat and substantially increasing the valve’s open area and flow coefficient (Cv). The elastomer provides positive sealing and has long life (see "Elastomer Properties" table below to select the proper elastomer for your application).
Full Port Butterfly Check Valves provide more flow and lower pressure drops than conventional check valves.

Elastomers for butterfly check valve hinges must be selected with process constituents, temperature range and other variables in mind to insure long life and reliability. The following selection chart shows elastomer compatibility for many common chemicals.
