The Model CVL elastomer-lined wafer check valve is a high-performance, spring-assisted dual-disc check valve engineered for reliable non-return (backflow prevention) in industrial fluid handling systems. Designed to ASME Class 150 pressure standards, it features a ductile iron body with a fully bonded elastomer liner (EPDM, Buna-N, or Viton®) that provides complete media isolation, improving chemical resistance and reducing corrosion risk. Precision-machined 316 stainless steel discs, shafts, and springs deliver fast dynamic response, minimizing reverse flow, pressure loss, and water hammer. The compact wafer-style body enables space-efficient installation between ANSI flanges, while the raised elastomer face eliminates the need for additional gaskets. Integrally molded travel stops reduce wear and ensure consistent disc alignment over extended service cycles. Available in sizes 2” through 20”, the CVL valve is optimized for water distribution, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, HVAC systems, power generation, and general industrial process piping applications requiring durable, low-maintenance check valve performance.
